Gear fit 2 not tracking distance
WebJan 9, 2024 · Andrew - from what I understand S Health uses the phone's GPS to track your location and uses the band only for the heart rate, the duration of the exercise, the step count and stuff like that. I think it uses the Gear Fit's GPS unit only if during the exercise the band is not connected to the phone. WebNov 8, 2016 · However, the Gear Fit 2 does track elevation, map distance (not sure about display coordinates), or distance accuracy (I'm sure it's about same or better than any other wearable with GPS/distance tracking. I'll keep an eye out for more information. In the meantime, let us know if you purchase it and shed some light on those questions.
