WebDec 26, 2024 · For games like this, Terraria lacks that one thing that's an absolute requirement: exploration. Technically it's there but it's lackluster, uninspiring, and more of a copy/paste than Starbound and is extremely linear. WebStarbound I feel is a different cup of tea than Terraria, they both have a lot of similarities but Starbound I feel is more focused on exploration and construction where Terraria is more about progression, combat, and crafting. Both games have all those elements, but they excel in different ways.
